2 Accessing the website and server log files

When you access this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which our hosting provider stores in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system identifiers.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website and in defending against attacks. This data is not merged with other data sources. Log files are retained by our hosting provider only for as long as technically necessary and are then deleted automatically.

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO AG.

3 Contact form

If you write to us via the form on this website, we process the details you enter — name, email address, optionally company and area, and your message — solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions relating to it.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Use of Formspree

For the technical transmission of the form we use the service Formspree, provided by Formspree, Inc., based in the United States. Your form entries are routed through and temporarily stored on Formspree's servers before being delivered to us by email. Formspree acts as our processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; a corresponding agreement is in place.

This involves a transfer of personal data to a third country. The transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. Despite these safeguards, access by US authorities cannot be entirely ruled out. If you wish to avoid this, please write to us directly at kontakt@enerlio.de or call us instead.

The form contains a field invisible to you which detects automated submissions. It processes no personal data and serves solely to prevent spam.

4 Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us without using the form, we process your details to handle your request on the same legal bases. Emails are stored on our mailbox servers; unencrypted email offers no complete protection against access by third parties.

5 What we do not do

This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage. There is no reach measurement, no web analytics and no profiling. No advertising networks, social media plugins, chat widgets, map services, video embeds or external fonts are integrated — all fonts and images are served from our own server. There is no automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Your data is neither sold to third parties nor used for advertising.

6 Retention period

Server log files are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short period. Enquiries by form, email or telephone are retained until the matter has been conclusively resolved and are then deleted — after two years at the latest, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Where a contractual relationship arises from the enquiry, the commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively apply.

7 Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to kontakt@enerlio.de is sufficient.

8 Complaint to the supervisory authority

Irrespective of the above, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:

9 Encryption

For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar. While encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

We update this privacy policy whenever the legal situation or the processing on this website changes. The version published here applies in each case.
